A founding member of the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, William Kanengiser was awarded a Grammy for Best Classical Crossover Recording in 2004. In his third visit to GCGS, he performs Shingo Fuji's "Concierto de Los Angeles" for solo guitar and guitar orchestra, backed by a guitar orchestra featuring students from Arizona Universities and Community Colleges with performances in Flagstaff, Tempe, and Tucson.

Anton Baranov is a young Russian guitarist born in 1984, and a graduate in 2010 from the state run Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in St Petersburg. He was the first place winner of the World Guitar Competition in 2013, and also of the Guitar Foundation of America International Competition in 2013, and visits Flagstaff as part of the illustrious GFA Winner's Tour.

Belgian guitarist Raphaella Smits has performed world-wide in solo recitals and chamber music concerts, and has recorded 17 albums of music. Adrien Brogna is is a founding member of the Alki Guitar Trio and has recorded for GHA Records. The Duo Smits-Brogna will perform guitar duet music from the 19th Century on period instruments for an exciting chamber music addition to our series!

Paul O'Dette is a lutenist, conductor, and musicologist specializing in the performance of Renaissance and Baroque music. He has made more than 120 recordings, earning five Grammy nominations and numerous other awards. He is an avid researcher, working extensively on the performance of 17th century Italian and English solo song, continuo practices, and lute technique. We are proud to present a return visit from one of the world's finest lutenists to conclude this exciting season!
